Black Brunswickers

A regular gaming buddy has a fine Allied force, including a few units of Brunswickers. However, noting that he lacked a brigade level command stand, I decided to treat myself to painting something a bit different.

The Perry figures are painted to represent officers from the 1st Line and 2nd Light Regiments c.1815, and hopefully there aren't too many mistakes.

  1. No complaints from the Uniform Police here - they look terrific! Hope they will add the needed tactical drive to the Allies!

    1. I painted highlights using GW black (which is a grey black) over a very dark brown drybrush base on a true black undercoat.

  5. Can't speak to the accuracy of the uniform, but they look wonderful. Who doesn't like a well painted Brunswicker?
