Michel Ney, Duc d'Elchingen, Prince de la Moskowa, and friends

Pre-tufted version of Marshal Ney, Col Heymes and Levavasseur, straight out of the box and painted to match the Waterloo panorama done around 1900. I think that the only difference is I've given Heynes a black sheepskin flounce instead of a leopard skin one.

Once the holidays are over, I'll restock on superglue and have a tufting frenzy ;-)

1812 and all that

Last week I finished off some brigade commanders for my adopted 1812 French. The troops are based on Ledru's 10th Division, supported Beurman's light cavalry brigade. All by Elite Minis and horses done in the old style - oil and a sponge Apologies for any uniform issues and grateful for any pointers as to where I may have gone wrong:

I may go back and add some tufts, but next up is their Corps Commander from the Twins…

Cold War Gone Hot c.1985

Yet another project? Well, yes and no.

Basically, I finally got around to putting some paint on some 20mm RH Models Polish Naval Infantry, I've had laying around for well over a year as my part in a fictional Warsaw Pact invasion of Denmark project!

The aim is to do a 1:1 scale platoon for Force on Force and then see about a 1:1 scale company group, which would also serve as a regiment in RapidFire2 terms. I'll do these as a break from… err... everything else :-)
